Park Community Nursery is set on the expansive grounds of Park Community School. We have two buildings. The nursery building is for our babies (Bambi) which we take from 4 months to 2 years. The preschool building is for our 2-year-olds (Fawns) and our 3–4-year-olds (Deers). The setting is modern and spacious with lots of outdoor space for the children to enjoy. Throughout the day the children have the opportunity to free-flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Both the nursery and Preschool buildings have designated areas of learning to support the prime and Specific areas of development.

Alongside the nursery building we have use of the school buildings and facilities too, where the children can go to visit the goats and chickens, work together with the student ambassadors of PE and Dance where with the schoolteacher and our dedicated staff they have regular PE and Dance sessions. They have weekly visits to the school library where they get read to by the librarian and students, as well as choosing their own books to bring to the nursery each week.

All of the meals within the nursery are provided by the school’s award-winning catering team. All meals are made fresh following government guidelines. As part of their daily routine, the children will attend the school restaurant during their allocated lunchtime to have their lunch alongside the students and staff of the school.
