Welcome to Park Community Nursery

The nursery offers both full days and sessional care for children aged 4 months to 5 years (before nursery reception). We are open 51 weeks of the year from 7.30am to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

We offer both term time only places and full-time arrangements.

We are registered to accept 15- and 30-hours nursery funding from the government.

A child’s early years are a time of discovery, development, and learning. We will provide a safe, stimulating learning environment.

As a nursery we want every child to have a wide range of opportunities. It is so important to become literate and numerate and to have the best preparation and life skills for starting school.

"Our daughter loves going to nursery here. She runs in every morning and always has a smile on her face. As parents we think this says a lot about the kind, friendly and caring environment they have to offer. They provide a vast range of activities which all the children get involved in. We love the regular updates and photos they send to us."

"Our child has come on so much since starting Park Community Nursery. It took him no time to transition, and his needs are well met, including his additional communication and language needs. We know he is safe, has fun and is challenged at Park Community Nursery."

"After attending a different nursery and still not settling after a year. I moved my son to park community nursery and the difference in him after just a few months is amazing. He comes home in such a happy mood, talking about his day for ages on the way home. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough, the ladies do such an amazing job, my son absolutely loves seeing them all and his nursery friends."

To provide high quality learning opportunities that enable children to achieve their best.

A well-resourced curriculum allowing children to gain skills and knowledge.

To ensure children are supported and cared for in a safe and trusting environment.

To value the role that family members play in their child's life, by building excellent links between home and our nursery.

To take advantage of the excellent school facilities and events, so providing children with extra learning opportunities between home and our nursery.

Our Vision

A child’s early years are a time of discovery, development and learning. We will provide a safe, stimulating learning environment. As a nursery and as part of a school, we want every child to feel a sense of belonging; to have good connections and have access to a wide range of opportunities. It is important to us that the children learn skills such as communication, social skills independence, and resilience to give them the best preparation for starting school and their life ahead.
